Ancien Couvent des Ursulines
This XVIIth century convent is listed, it has been restored carefully by its landlords over the past 50 years. Splendid painted ceilings can be admired there. And the view over the roofs of the city is breathtaking.
The Convent was founded in 1626 by the Ursuline Sisters of Toulouse. It used to be one of the most important religious buildings of the city. The sisters had a school for girls there up to the Revolution. The building was then transformed into a military hospital. The duke of Wellington stayed in this convent during the battle of Toulouse.
